A Spinal Surgery student tests VirtualiSurg’s VR headset and haptic controllers within the Mediverse
Through its revolutionary Extended Reality (XR) #Mediverse, VirtualiSurg guides Health Care Professionals through medical training to become professionally accredited experts in their field.
For the second year running, our team presented concrete cases of #XR simulation for #spine surgery to students of the Inter-University Diploma for Spine Surgery in Strasbourg, which enables the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge relating to spinal surgery, within the framework of specialised education.
All 60 students tested our simulators with enthusiasm, discovering the haptic force feedback on technical surgical gestures.
It was a great honour to accept Professor Yann Philippe Charles ‘s renewed cordial invitation to partake in the training program on the 17 and 18th November. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the unismes team at Strasbourg University for their warm welcome.
