A special thank you to SoFraSimS as well as the organisers of the recent HTIC 2024 Congress by Morocco Sim in Fès, Morocco, including the respectable Professors Mohammed MOUHAOUI and Hicham Nassik.
It was such a joy to be part of a fascinating exchange of pedagogy, research and innovation, and first-hand interactions with solutions to limitations in clinical learning, alongside more than 1,200 healthcare professionals, students, researchers and training providers.
The new Dräger Virtuo simulation for adult and neonatal intensive care training, proved a true success – sparking great interest among medical professionals during the congress. Created for Dräger, the simulation was well received by the medical community, including positive feedback from a neonatal nurse who remarked on the impressive ‘realistic environment’ of #BabyLeo, which allowed her to respond rapidly to prompts as she would in a physical hospital. Many attendees had the opportunity to hone their real-life technical skills in this immersive environment, and were delighted to walk away with an actual learning experience too.
The warmth of reception we experienced in Morocco is an exciting reminder of the positive impact of our technology across the world, reinforcing our purpose to provide world-class medical training that is easily accessible and available for all.
