As part of its strong growth, VirtualiSurg is looking to strengthen its team with Hardware Engineers with focus on mechanical and electrical conception, to aid the development of world class training medical stations, thus supporting the creation of realistic virtual environments and simulations.
This position will allow you to develop hardware solutions and work in a highly innovative, young and dynamic environment with a strong social impact, where you will work together with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the goal.
Missions:
- Search for different solutions in response to the need expressed by the client;
- Design, develop and oversee the production of prototypes for new products
- Drafting specifications;
- Using CAD software, design new products and modify existing ones;
- Document the prototype development process and mounting of new products;
- Compare and select suppliers and order components that best fit the solution;
- 3D printing and assembly prototyping;
- Develop testing plans and oversee prototype testing;
- Participate in research and development activities for software and/or hardware solutions related to immersive simulators;
- Contribute to the analysis of the technical feasibility of new projects;
- Assist in the development of patent applications
- Participate in software tests and evaluations as part of the Quality approach;
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- School of general engineering or electronics
- Non-academic skills will also be considered
- Good knowledge of embedded systems programming (C, C++, Python)
- Good knowledge of CAD software (Fusion360, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
- Knowledge of electronic design software (DesignSpark PCB, Fusion360, etc.)
- A good command of English is essential
Plus
- Experience in 3D printing (FDM, SLA)
- Knowledge of the C# language applied to Unity software and virtual reality
- Knowledge/interest in the medical world
- Passionate about innovation, new technologies and the creation of virtual experiences
